Interface embraces colour, pattern, and dynamic transitions with pivotal moment carpet tile collection

Interface, Inc., the global flooring and sustainability leader, launches Pivotal Moments™, a new carpet tile collection inspired by Scandinavian geometric design principles. Rooted in dynamic movement, expressive pattern, and coordinated colour, the collection gives designers more flexibility to shape how today’s commercial spaces transition, connect, and stand apart. One warm base colour holds the system together as the pattern gently builds from small-scale details to defining moments. Designed for high-traffic spaces, including corporate offices, hospitality environments, and education facilities, the collection explores both plush textures and soft geometrics for transitions that feel as calm or as bold as the space requires. As a coordinated carpet tile system, Pivotal Moments can be used to create full rug-like areas, quiet learning zones, or bold statement moments helping reduce cognitive load.

Pivotal Moments comprises two complementary carpet tile styles. In Motion™ provides a subtle woven texture that forms a calm and versatile foundation, while Shift Point™ introduces a geometric overlay that can be used to emphasise collaboration areas, social zones and key destinations within a space.

The collection uses a shared colour foundation and patterns to create subtle distinctions between spaces and comes in 16 colourways in a 50x50cm format. The result is a flexible yet coordinated flooring system that can support wayfinding, delineate activity zones and help users navigate environments more intuitively.

The collection includes bio-based materials and 100% recycled content nylon, resulting in a carbon footprint for In Motion of 2.46 kg CO2e/m² and for Shift Point of 2.45 kg CO2e/m² when paired with the company’s CQuest™Bio backing.
