It’s a wrap for WORKS magazine for 2023
It’s a wrap for our magazines for 2023, and we’ve covered all the bases in the latest issue of WORKS magazine, looking back at some of the best bits from the past 12 months and also looking forward to what we can expect from early 2024. Variety really is the spice of life – and we’ve scoured the country in search of a selection of diverse, forward-thinking and eye-catching new project stories, stopping in Manchester, Lincoln and London. These brilliant schemes include elegant headquarters buildings, innovation-filled tech coworking hubs and even a dramatic racing car.
We worked closely with the team from the impressive Workspace Design Show in 2023, and this issue not only looks back at the vibrant inaugural Amsterdam edition of the show, it also looks forward to the return of the Workspace Design Show London in February, where we unveil an impressive cast of speakers for the greatly anticipated talks programmes – including our very own Sustainability Works sessions. As it has in the past, it’s an unmissable chance to network and share ideas with industry leading specialists.
We’ve also introduced a brand new regular feature called Happy Place, in which we ask leading industry figures and end user clients to reveal their favourite places to conduct their business. We start in that funkiest of London borough’s, Camden, as LABS MD, Matt Watts, tells us about his own happy (work) place.
Finally, we’ve compiled a selection of our favourite snippets from this year’s popular Sundowner series of interviews. We look back at the wise words of a number of our leading specifiers, furniture specialists and all-round good eggs.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us produce WORKS and support the magazine and other Insight titles and events over the past 12 months, we genuinely appreciate your fantastic support – and here’s to a successful and exciting 2024.
