Connected Realities theme will explore the fusion of physical and digital workplaces at the 2026 Workspace Design Show

The 2026 edition of the Workspace Design Show in London will explore how the boundaries between physical and digital workplaces are becoming increasingly blurredThe 2026 edition of the Workspace Design Show in London will explore how the boundaries between physical and digital workplaces are becoming increasingly blurred. The event, taking place at the Business Design Centre on 25–26 February 2026, will centre around the theme Connected Realities, which examines how technology and design combine to create more responsive and human work environments. According to the organisers, the show will focus on how hybrid working models, immersive technologies and smart environments are influencing workplace design.

Event Director Esha Bark-Jones said the concept represents a shift from traditional thinking about office layouts. “Today’s most successful workplaces behave almost like living organisms – responsive, sensory and human,” she said. “Connected Realities is a celebration of that evolution, the moment where physical design and digital intelligence finally operate in harmony.”

Exhibitors are being encouraged to interpret the theme through interactive and sensory experiences on their stands. This includes the use of augmented reality product demonstrations, live data walls, and wellbeing-focused environments designed to illustrate how the physical and virtual aspects of the workplace can operate together.

Confirmed exhibitors include König + Neurath, Sedus, Bisley, Pedrali, Interface, Kvadrat and Forbo. The organisers are also collaborating with design firms including Gensler, Peldon Rose, MCM Architecture and Area to bring the theme to life across the show.

The event will also host the inaugural Workspace Design Awards on 25 February, recognising completed workplace projects from around the world. The awards will be judged by senior occupiers, developers and workplace transformation specialists, offering perspectives from those directly involved in creating and managing workplaces. Entry is open to architects, designers, developers, fit-out specialists and workplace strategists for projects completed between January 2023 and October 2025, with submissions closing on 31 October 2025.

Workspace Design Show London 2026 will feature more than 500 workplace solutions, over 140 expert speakers and a range of immersive installations examining how culture, technology and design continue to evolve together.
