Interface introduces In The Mix, a new terrazzo-inspired LVT 

Interface, the global flooring solutions company and sustainability leader, has introduced In The Mix™, its latest resilient style blending the on-trend look of terrazzo with the performance benefits of LVT. Available in versatile neutral colourways, the product brings a modern lens to a classic design in a way that supports high-performing commercial spaces. With In The Mix, Interface is responding to the need for terrazzo-inspired flooring solutions without the complexity and upkeep of traditional terrazzo. The aesthetic is now available in a modular tile format, providing more design flexibility while still delivering on the signature look that terrazzo is known for. And the product, like all Interface LVT, is easy to install and maintain, making it a better solution for many projects.   

“Terrazzo is always in fashion, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon. However, the traditional technique of blending and pouring the material is too much of a hassle for many commercial spaces,” said Kelly Simcox, Head of Global Design at Interface. “Now we are making this classic aesthetic more accessible to designers—with In The Mix, terrazzo looks can be modular, offer easy installation and maintenance, and help reduce noise. This means the design is now an option for more spaces.”

Featuring a 50 cm x 50 cm tile format, it provides modularity and more design options for commercial spaces. The product is offered in six neutral colours that align with the classic shades designers desire. With a palette that ranges from the cool and calming pale grey aesthetic of Oyster to the added warmth and dark brown accents of Cavern, In The Mix offers endless design possibilities.

This 4.5 mm LVT quiets distractions with Interface’s Sound Choice+™ backing, offering best-in-class impact sound reduction and floor-to-floor sound transmission. Sound Choice+ LVT reduces impact sound by up to 19 dB, avoiding disturbances between floors and rooms. It also delivers a low carbon footprint of 6.80 kg CO2e/m2.
