Senator Group opens new showroom in Dubai
Dubai has long been the destination of choice to showcase the most iconic of British Designs, and now it is the home to The Senator Group’s newest showroom. The 3700 square foot space is nestled in Dubai’s Marina Plaza, a 28-story tower with panoramic views of the marina, city, and desert. Visitors to the showroom will fully experience, ‘The Social Office’, which blends the Senator and Allermuir brands to create a fluid and flexible contemporary working space. The concept was developed to address the challenges of every organisation, how can we align people and space efficiently, to nurture productivity and culture? How can we create human-centred environments with the right mix of focus, privacy, and collaboration?
The new showroom is a harmony of open plan and clever division of space, using Senator storage solutions such as Framed, Crate and Play to create purposeful zones. There are a variety of workplace settings, including a high-end executive suite featuring the Qdos chair by Senator, together with height adjustable Chemistry desking. For casual teamwork, the showroom presents an Allermuir Silta Table, flanked by Kin mono-shell stools, designed by London based design studio PearsonLloyd.
CoLab by Senator is the showroom’s standout piece, which won two awards at this year’s NeoCon exhibition. Also born from the talents of PearsonLloyd, CoLab offers workspaces and institutions a versatile modular furniture system that empowers shared learning, while inspiring socialising and connection.
The showroom presents a catwalk of Allermuir chairs, which demonstrates the variety of styles and upholstery detail options the brand has to offer for lounges, hospitality environments or breakout spaces. And taking centre stage is Tibo, a combined bench and table system for indoor and outdoor use, designed for Allermuir by Mark Gabbertas, to provide the easiest and most natural interaction between people.
Integrated battery power is a common theme across both brands, to enable visitors to immerse themselves in a new generation of furniture design.
This stunning space provides a welcoming space for dealers and the design community to discuss current issues and emerging trends, but also to see and feel the many different materials, fabrics, and colours that both brands have available. The Senator Group chose Dubai as its latest destination to support the growing demand for its brands in the Middle East, across commercial, educational and hospitality markets.
