UK architecture and design firm tp bennett has acquired Bluehaus Group, a Dubai-based architectural, design and engineering consultancy, as part of its strategy to expand its international operationsUK architecture and design firm tp bennett has acquired Bluehaus Group, a Dubai-based architectural, design and engineering consultancy, as part of its strategy to expand its international operations. The two firms have worked together on a range of projects over the past 15 years. Bluehaus, which has operated in the region for more than two decades, brings experience in sectors including hospitality, healthcare, education, retail and workplace, alongside a client list that includes EmiratesNBD, Amazon, Credit Suisse and Dubai Holding.

The acquisition is intended to consolidate tp bennett’s position in the Middle East, adding local delivery capabilities and engineering expertise to its existing portfolio. Bluehaus will continue to operate under its current leadership, with founder and managing director Ben Corrigan joining the tp bennett board and continuing to lead operations in the region.

Julian Sharpe, Principal at tp bennett, said the acquisition reflected growing demand from global clients for more integrated and regionally informed design services. The firms expect the move to support work in areas such as sustainable architecture, smart buildings and workplace design.

The deal gives tp bennett a direct presence in the Gulf, adding to its existing offices in London, Manchester and Leeds. The firm has recently delivered workplace and healthcare projects in Europe and Africa, while Bluehaus has worked across the UAE and broader Middle East.

Both firms say the integration will allow them to offer combined services across architecture, interiors, masterplanning and engineering, at a time when design consultancies are increasingly being asked to deliver multi-disciplinary solutions at scale. The acquisition is effective immediately.
