Design Social North will reinvigorate the creative workplace sector in the North of England
Design Social North is the new event bringing the design community and creative businesses back together in the North of England. The organisers have created DesignFestivalNorth, a 3-day showcase of leading design brands and companies, presented in a series of events taking place this July in showrooms across Manchester, and a dedicated ‘design hub’ located at Impossible in the City Centre. It takes place from Tuesday 13th-Thursday 15th July 2021.
Prior to the pandemic, the North’s creative sector was thriving, with Manchester heralded as the second largest Creative City in Europe, contributing over £1.4 billion to the UK economy annually and becoming an increasingly important sector. The collective creative passion across the regions is phenomenal, with a hunger to overcome these challenging times.
With Design Festival North they are looking to emphasise the true collaborative nature of creative businesses in the North and help the creative sector to recover, flourish and grow once again. Design Social North want to show how versatile the sector is and ensure it can maintain its unique innovative, ground-breaking and globally renown position.
Over the 3 days there will be some exciting and informative ‘spotlight presentations’ from companies exhibiting – which are FREE to attend. A chance to find out about new trends, products and more from industry leaders and specialists, in a friendly and intimate setting.
