Workspace Design Show returns to Amsterdam with focus on sensory workplace design
Registration has opened for the Workspace Design Show 2025, which returns to Amsterdam on 5–6 November with a focus on how sensory workplace design is influencing the modern office. Held at the RAI exhibition centre, the event will bring together over 5,000 workplace professionals, including architects, designers and commercial interiors specialists. This year’s theme, Activate the Senses, explores how sight, sound, scent and touch can influence how we feel and function at work.
The two-day event will include more than 170 exhibitors and feature workplace solutions across furniture, lighting, acoustics, surfaces, and digital tools. Exhibiting brands include Sedus, Bisley, Vitra, Tarkett, Interface, Humanscale, Pedrali and Konig + Neurath, among others.
Visitors will also be able to explore five immersive sensory installations, created by design firms including UNStudio, Mecanoo and Casper Schwarz Architects. These curated spaces aim to demonstrate how sensory cues can enhance productivity, wellbeing and emotional response in the workplace.
In addition to the exhibition, the show will host more than 35 panel discussions across three conference stages. Speakers include representatives from Gensler, OMA, MVRDV, Amazon, ABN AMRO, Booking.com and AECOM, as well as international design and architecture firms. Topics will span innovation, sustainability, wellbeing and the integration of data and design in the workplace.
One of the highlights of the show will be the live ceremony of the FRAME Awards, recognising innovation in interior design globally. The event will also include the Mood Board Contest curated by the Biophilic Design Academy.
Organisers say the show is increasingly focused on how workplace environments can support more thoughtful, multisensory experiences—an approach that reflects broader shifts in office design thinking.
Registration is free for trade visitors and open now at workspaceshow.nl.
