Warning over worker welfare on 2022’s first day ‘not back in office’
The 4th January was the first working day of 2022 for many employees, but due to ongoing working from home restrictions the majority will not be attending their usual workplaces. Confidence sky high in London Office Crane survey
The London Office Crane Survey Winter 2021 suggests dramatically improved confidence about London in the developments that are being undertaken in the office market. The survey, compiled by Deloitte, claims the volume of new starts has increased from 3.1 million to 3.4 million sq ft, above the long-term average of 2.4 million sq ft. More →

London office market reignites as occupiers implement hybrid working strategies
Research from Gerald Eve has highlighted a strong resurgence in activity in the London office market in Q3. Occupier take-up increased 30 percent to 2.8 million sq ft, driven by large commitments by major London occupiers. New research from Nespresso Professional claims that the office space is still highly valued by employees, with office workers naming seeing their colleagues (39 percent) as the thing they like most about being in the office. While a proper desk setup (31 percent) comes in second, office camaraderie (30 percent) took the third spot, showing the importance of the office environment for team building and relationships.
